This policy applies to personal information Netlink collects from customers, prospective customers and visitors to the Netlink website at https://thenetlink.com.au. Netlink is operated by ANSARI PTY LTD trading as Netlink, ABN 34 611 683 142.

Netlink only collects information that is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities. The types of information we may collect include:

• Contact information — name, phone number, email address, and postal address.
• Property and service information — site address, property type, existing infrastructure, service requirements, uploaded files (photos, floor plans, quote references) submitted through the booking or quote form.
• Booking details — dates, times, chosen services and any notes you provide when scheduling.
• Website usage information — pages visited, referring URL, browser type, device type, approximate location (based on IP) and interactions with the site.
• Communications — the content of emails, phone messages and enquiries you send to us.

When you submit an enquiry, quote request, camera-hire booking, service booking, or contact form on this website, we receive the information you enter into that form (including any files you attach). Fields marked as required are the minimum we need to respond; optional fields help us tailor the service to your site.

Netlink uses standard web analytics and tag-management tools to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Currently in use on this website:

• Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-T7Z37LR) — a container that manages the tags below and any future marketing or analytics tags.
• Google Maps & Places API — used on the booking and contact forms to autocomplete site addresses. Address input is sent to Google as part of that lookup.
• PostHog product analytics — collects anonymised usage data (pages viewed, buttons clicked) and, for logged-in staff, may record session events for product-improvement purposes.

We do not currently run Facebook / Meta Pixel or LinkedIn conversion tracking on this website. If that changes, this policy will be updated.

This website uses cookies and similar browser storage for essential functions (such as keeping you signed in to your Netlink account or admin dashboard), for analytics (via the tools listed above), and for booking and form state. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent some site features from working correctly.

Netlink uses personal information to:

• Schedule and deliver services, manage bookings and rescheduling.

• Trusted service providers engaged by Netlink to run the business — including email delivery (Resend), payment processing (Stripe), address autocomplete (Google), analytics tooling (PostHog, Google Tag Manager), and cloud hosting for the website and database.
• Subcontractors and licensed technicians assigned to deliver services on Netlink's behalf, on a need-to-know basis.
• Where required by law — for example, in response to a valid legal request, court order or regulatory obligation.

Netlink does not sell your personal information and does not disclose it for third-party marketing purposes.

Netlink takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes access controls on our systems, HTTPS across the website, and role-based access to the admin dashboard. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, including for service records, warranty support, and legitimate business or legal obligations (for example, taxation and record keeping under Australian law). When it is no longer needed, information is deleted or de-identified.

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to ask us to correct anything that is out of date or inaccurate. To make a request, please email info@thenetlink.com.au. We may ask you to verify your identity before providing access. There is no fee for a reasonable request.

If Netlink sends you a marketing message, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us at info@thenetlink.com.au. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications (for example, booking confirmations, invoices or safety notices).

The Netlink website links to third-party sites (for example, manufacturer product pages or social media platforms). Those sites have their own privacy policies and are not covered by this document. Please review the privacy policy of any site you visit from a Netlink link.

The Netlink website and services are directed to customers who are 18 or older. Netlink does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through our site, please contact us and we will delete it.
